adding back ocs list
and any arch.
revamp of the NUT code.
As an example, this file declare the OID to NUT mapping for some Eaton
devices (MGE legacy):
http://anonscm.debian.org/viewvc/nut/trunk/drivers/mge-mib.c?view=co&content-type=text%2Fplain
we extract info for nut-scanner from the very last line
(mib2nut_info_t), which already use defines.
The many other lines above are the actual OID to NUT data mapping (snmp_info_t)
and for future extension, USB (UPSs) and IPMI (power supplies) would
be a good addition...
cheers,
Arnaud
Could the discovery of the power devices using nuts be done on a Windows
platform or is it a Linux (or UNIX) only
option????
NUT runs on any OS (Linux, Windows, OS X, Solaris, HP-UX, Aix, ...)platform or is it a Linux (or UNIX) only
option????
and any arch.
I have a need to run the discovery of devices off of a Windows server, and
would really like to get more than basic information for all devices. From
what you describe the ability to get the vendor or device name would be a
great enhancement to the existing code.

I am a SNMP novice, but what you describe would be a very positive addition to the SNMP agent
indeed ;)and for future extension, USB (UPSs) and IPMI (power supplies) would
