Distribute at night ( WoL )

Hello,

is it possible to configure OCS the way that it wakes up the clients
via WoL at a specified time ? This way software could be distributed
at night when the distribution does not disturb the users.

Hi Andreas,

You cannot use WoL to wake up agents actually in OCS. This features is in the roadmap and we plan to find a way to do it as secure as possible.
This feature is really wanted by OCS users and that why we plan to make it :) :) .

What is the security problem ?
AFAIK there is no way to prevent someone to send WOL Packets over the
net, so I don't see what you could do for security.
